Mazatlán, Sinaloa. – With the arrival of regional tourism to the port of Mazatlan on the weekends, transfers to the Isla de la Piedra maintain good demand.

The president of the Union of Lancheros, César Lizárraga, said that in recent weekends there has been an increase of 10% in the demand for crossings to one of the favorite beaches of locals and tourists.

“We have had like a 10% increase, we did have a little more increase in national tourism, we did see a little more flow of people, the truth is that we cannot complain and good numbers are also expected this weekend,” he said.

He expressed that national tourists are those who visit the destination and who seek to know other recreation options that Mazatlán has. And one of them is the Island of the Stone.

The service provider commented that the demand in the city increases on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and that since Easter and Easter they have had work and expect it to continue until the summer period.

“As of Friday, the demand increases, because that is when tourists arrive mainly from the cities of Durango, Torreón, Chihuahua and the rest of the state of Sinaloa, which are added to the demand from locals, which is also very important”, ended.
