The Municipal Public Security Secretariat, through the Traffic Directorate, removed the boats that were abandoned on Joel Montes Camarena Street, the road that leads to the Lighthouse, reported Jesús Antonio Estrada Díaz Deputy Director of Municipal Transit.
He said that they spoke with the owners of the units and they agreed to move them, so that the road has a better view and is safer for passersby.
“Most were withdrawn, there were only two that the owners did not appear and those were deposited in the Municipal Pension of Colonia Valles del Ejido.”
He added that as of Monday the access to the Lighthouse will be closed to all vehicles from Avenida Paseo del Centenario, only public service cars will enter to drop off or pick up passengers at the foot of the Lighthouse.
With this operation, it is intended that tourists can walk to the Cerro del Crestón area and the area of the catamarans jetty.
