Mazatlán, Sinaloa. – What for almost a week began with repairs, to this day continues without a sidewalk and without resolution, still representing a danger for passersby.

After last Thursday, March 18, the repair of the 14-millimeter pipe of drinking water and the fiber optic cabling was concluded, as well as the resumption of vehicular traffic on Del Mar Avenue, the sidewalk damaged by the construction of the Pacific Pearl Tower continues to be a trench.

The construction supervised by the College of Architects of Mazatlán and iKAPITAL, a real estate company, were responsible for the damage caused to the public heritage and so far the authorities have not ruled on the measures to be taken due to the lack of response.

Likewise, it is observed that there is still activity by the workers of the same construction company, however, they remain hermetic in terms of statements to the media.

It is feared that due to the damage caused since March 13, the sidewalk and part of the street of the important avenue will not be adequately repaired, with the risk that the land in front of the property will gradually sink.
