Scientific studies are in favor of proving that marijuana can be used therapeutically

Culiacán, Sinaloa.- The Governor of the State, Quirino Ordaz Coppel, assured that the legalization of marijuana in Mexico was a step that had to be taken.

This, after the legalization of marijuana in Mexico could be a reality before May.

He pointed out that this approval will not cause risks among the Sinaloan population if the use is regulated as required by law.

“These are the new times, they are realities, in the world that is already happening, in Mexico this step had to be taken, it is part of, the recognition process is that it is therapeutic,” he said.

The state president argued that scientific studies are done in favor of proving that marijuana can be used therapeutically.

“No, because as long as there are no excesses, abuses, as established by law, scientific studies are done in that sense,” he said.
