Mazatlán, Sinaloa.- The Government of the State of Sinaloa plans to use the more than 7 thousand meters of the old offices of the Military Hospital to convert them into offices of the Ministry of Tourism and a space for exhibitions, which would save approximately 4 million pesos per year, revealed Quirino Ordaz Coppel.
The governor of the entity mentioned that as a swap with the Secretariat of National Defense they plan to conclude the signing of agreements to achieve the transfer of the agency, which currently pays an estimated amount of 350 thousand pesos per month, in the facilities on the Avenida del Mar.
“Take the Ministry of Tourism and perhaps other areas for exhibitions, we will review it and once it is delivered to see the conditions, I understand that it is well cared for, but we will have to make modifications, I think in time it will have to stop paying, that rent so expensive that we are doing ”.
He explained that the main idea is to achieve significant savings for the state coffers, as is the case with the transfer of offices to the new government unit in Culiacán, for which they stopped paying thousands of pesos in rents and that this resource was can invest in other areas of benefit to Sinaloans.
