Sinaloa reaches 5,000 deaths from Covid-19

Culiacán, Sinaloa. – It has been 366 days since patient 01 with Covid-19 was detected in Sinaloa and since then the death of five thousand nine patients who had complications with the disease has been confirmed.

In the last 24 hours, the death of 15 people has been added to the platform of health institutions, of which three are from Culiacán, Mazatlán, Guasave, and Ahome and one from Angostura, Salvador Alvarado, and Elota.

This Saturday 95 more patients with Covid-19 were confirmed. 43 from Culiacán, 15 from Ahome, 15 from Mazatlán, 11 from Navolato, five from Elota, four from Guasave and two from Angostura.

The Ministry of Health reported that 68 patients were discharged, of which 26 are from Culiacán, 19 from Ahome, 11 from Mazatlán, three from Salvador Alvarado, three from Elota, and two from Rosario, Guasave, and Angostura. Historically, 27,630 people have been recovered.

There are currently 615 active patients in the state. 282 from Culiacán, 114 from Ahome, 76 from Mazatlán, 41 from Guasave, 39 from Navolato, 23 from El Fuerte, 21 from Salvador Alvarado, eight from Elota, three from Angostura, two from Rosario, two from Concordia, one from Mocorito, Choix, Sinaloa and San Ignacio.

So far the contagion of 33 thousand 254 people has been confirmed and 602 people in the state are suspects, with the exception of San Ignacio and Mocorito. The municipalities, Badiraguato, Cosala, and Escuinapa, are the only ones that do not register active patients.
