In Mexican states that attracted tourists during the end of the year, holidays have registered an increase in cases and deaths from Covid-19, the Pan American Health Organization warned this Wednesday.

PAHO Director Carissa Etienne specifically pointed to the states of Baja California Sur, Guerrero, Nayarit, and Quintana Roo.

While infections with the virus that causes Covid-19 are finally declining in the United States and Canada after weeks of sustained increase.
