OAXACA, – A tourist of Scandinavian origin was rescued alive this Friday in Puerto Escondido, on the coast of Oaxaca.
The man, from Denmark, entered the Zicatela beach, famous for its high waves and for surfing.
One of these waves swept him away.
One of the Firefighters lifeguards swam until he reached him and managed to recover him.
His companions helped ithe rescue on the beach and managed to stabilize him.
At this time of year, many tourists from that area of Europe travel to Puerto Escondido to enjoy the weather and its beaches.
