Despite being holidays for some in the public transport sector there will be no reduction in schedules but in units, working only half on all routes except tourist ones

Mazatlán, Sinaloa.- During these Christmas celebration dates, Mazatlán’s public transport will be working in a different way from the regular one, so the understanding of users will be requested, reported Faustino Mejía Chávez, President of the Alliance of Transportation and Trucks of Urban and Sub-Urban Services of Mazatlán.

Mejía Chávez commented that prior to the Christmas season, a work roll was prepared to distribute to the operators, so the service will continue normally, except that there will be a reduced number of units available.

“Normal, the 25th is normal, the first day a role is made so that we work in some way at least half of the vehicles,” he said.

As for the schedules, he argued that it will depend on the route, since not all stop circulating at the same time since the latest that a route can be in service is at 10 at night.

“Depending on the route is the schedule, if one is reduced because the roles are slightly advanced but the service is not continued until 10 pm, the only thing is that the time is spaced a little”, he commented.

In this way, on December 25 and January 1 there will be no reduction in schedules but in units, working only half on all routes except tourist ones.
