MAZATLÁN._ Starting next week, a year-end “tourist wave” is expected in Mazatlán.

José Ramón Manguart Sánchez, president of the “Tres Islas” Hotel Association, assured that hotel occupancy will be between 64 and 66 percent from December 26 onwards.

“Before Christmas, many families prefer to spend it at home, but afterward, more tourism is expected to arrive, we hope that from December 26 on, occupancy levels will begin to rise,” he said.

This way the port of Mazatlan would be closing this year with good expectations for the year to come.
