Convicted Quintana Roo ex-governor marries Sinaloa beauty queen


The former governor of Quintana Roo married Norma Patricia de la Vega, winner of Nuestra Belleza Sinaloa

The former governor of  Quintana Roo,  Roberto Borge was married in the facilities of the Federal Center for Psychosocial Rehabilitation in the municipality of Ayala,  Morelos where he is imprisoned.

State authorities confirmed the news and it was revealed that he married  Norma Patricia de la Vega,  former beauty queen winner of the Nuestra Belleza Sinaloa pageant and a contender for Miss Mexico.

The Civil Registry Judge of Ayala, María de Jesús Báez, admitted having celebrated the nuptials within a framework of strict security and health protocols.

He added that the wedding is a legal right, and even human and that is why the request of the contracting parties was attended.

Roberto Borge is serving time for organized crime 

The former governor of Quintana Roo was arrested in 2018 for various crimes, including money laundering, organized crime, embezzlement, and illegal sale of public property to the detriment of the state of Quintana Roo.
