Mexican radio talk show host found dead in Nogales, Sonora

Nogales, Sonora (December 1, 2020).- The renowned radio talk show host Germán Fierro Gastélum was found dead in the facilities of radio “La Sonora” in this border city.

On Tuesday, December 1st, the body of the communicator was found inside the Plaza Niza in the Kennedy neighborhood of this border city.

Personnel from the Public Prosecutor’s Office arrived at the radio facilities to carry out the corresponding legal procedures.

The State  Attorney General’s Office (FGJE) reported that there are indications that it could be a suicide since they found a posthumous letter.

Once the processing of the place and autopsy is completed, more information will be issued, the agency reported.

“We cannot understand how such a cheerful man is no longer with us” (La Sonora).

For its part, the radio station “La Sonora” regretted German’s death and declared in mourning.

“We woke up to the news of his passing; We cannot understand how such a cheerful man is no longer with us! We are in mourning, but your smile will always remain with us! “

The director of the radio station, Gustavo Renteria, in a brief message expressed his condolences and wishes so that his audience, colleagues, and family find prompt resignation.
