Mazatlán, Sinaloa (November 27, 2020).- The secretary general of the Union of Tenants of the Pino Suárez market, Alejandro Ontiveros , assured that two weeks ago, when the construction of the water collectors around the enclosure began, the sales dropped considerably.

Sales remain at 40% during the week, with rises of up to 70% from Friday to Sunday. The tenants who are on the sidewalks of Aquiles Serdán and Melchor Ocampo streets are the most affected since many roads were closed to traffic and one of those streets was intervened.

According to municipal authorities, the works could last yet another month, so there is uncertainty about the situation, Pino Suarez tennants do not know if the works will finish on time.

They are hoping that the works are done before the Christmas period begins, and now the market is not in the best conditions to receive tourism.
