The Sinaloan Senator sent a congratulatory letter to Joseph Robinette Biden Jr. and Kamala Devi Harris, President and Vice President-elect of the United States of America, during the elections of November 3 in that nation.

The Los Mochis legislator, considered it appropriate and necessary, to initiate direct communication with the future President of the neighboring country, since it is the Senate of the Republic, who is empowered to analyze the foreign policy of the executive, so in his capacity as a member of this collegiate body and representative of the state of Sinaloa, sent a letter to the winners of the election, with the aim that the commercial and cultural exchange between that country and Sinaloa continue.

In the text of the letter sent by Zamora, he affirmed that the triumph of Joe Biden is a new chapter in the bilateral history between Mexico and the United States, which opens the opportunity to further strengthen ties of friendship, strengthen dialogue and economic and cooperation relationship in all areas.

In addition, Senator Mario Zamora, endorsed the proximity of Sinaloa, as one of the greatest agricultural powers of our country, due to the commercial and cultural exchange for decades with that country, for which he expressed the interest of Sinaloa to continue in that path.

On the other hand, in the letter sent to the future vice president, who is the first woman in the history of that country to hold this position, Mario Zamora emphasized that the participation of women in State affairs is fundamental in a democratic system, so his triumph represents progress in the political rights of American women.

Finally, the Senator from Sinaloa, stressed to both winners that cooperation and solidarity between our nations are essential for the well-being of the population, in the context of the health crisis caused by COVID-19.
