Mazatlán, Sinaloa. Yesterday, various representatives of organizations committed to the environment, met on the occasion of the ‘Maz bees, more life’ campaign, which promotes the rescue and care of beehives in its passage through the port of Mazatlán.

Civil Protection, Municipal Ecology, and the Environment, and Trustees of Rosario, Escuinapa, Elota, and Concordia, met at the Cruz Lizárraga Park, located in Lomas de Mazatlán, to publicize the work that has been carried out in favor of the take care of these pollinating insects. One of its greatest exponents has been Municipal Ecology, as its director, Lourdes Sanjuán Gallardo, assures that the public has a greater awareness of its care.

“Regardless of whether we tried to save the hives through this group of beekeepers, we saw is that people already have greater sensitivity in terms of the care that must be taken, in the treatment that should be given to them, no longer it is the idea of ​​killing them, they said ‘we want them to come, but not kill them’, so that is something important ”, the official acknowledged.
