Sinaloa Governor launches the 18th edition of the “Mexico Business Summit”

After pointing out that Sinaloa is proud of the business community that makes the economy grow, Governor Quirino Ordaz Coppel said that in a difficult world unity and negotiation are better than division and confrontation. He stressed that the best thing is innovation and change; Sinaloa in the bonanza has put progress and diversity even more.

The president in the presence of the secretaries of the Economy, Javier Lizárraga; and Tourism, Oscar Pérez Barros, as well as the mayor of Mazatlán, Luis Guillermo Benítez Torres, launched the work of the 18th edition of the Mexico Business Summit. He was pleased that this event has chosen Mazatlán as the venue because it is a port that is undergoing a great transformation, so he welcomed all participants to a state like Sinaloa which is, he said, a land of opportunities.

In his welcome message, in whose digital format the president of ‘Mexico Business Summit’, Miguel Alemán Velasco and Foreign Minister Marcelo Ebrard Casaubón also participated, who opened the program with the keynote address “Towards 2021: From crisis management to taking advantage of opportunities ”.

The XVIII of Mexico Business Summit will take place from November 8 to 10 and brings together businessmen from all over the country in a forum in which world perspectives are analyzed.

In his message, Quirino Ordaz stressed that “Sinaloa is a land of opportunities, of talented, brilliant, sincere people, driven forward.”

It is a great pleasure for us, he said, to have been selected to carry out this important event, which for the first time will be in a different, unprecedented way, but which is still being done, I think it is the most important thing, to always look forward; the format is a hybrid because, just as some of us are in person, the vast majority will do so virtually, taking advantage of and using technology.

The governor added: “This is part of what the pandemic has left us this year, which has shocked, shaken the entire world and which has precisely strengthened us in that communication is always carried closely, but using these mechanisms that previously We really weren’t doing it as intensely as we do now, and that’s something we have to take advantage of ”.

This summit takes place after last Tuesday was the election of the president of the United States, for what that country means and represents in our business, commercial, tourism, migration relationship in Mexico, we will continue working hand in hand and making a team and above all strengthening all our advantages of enormous potential as neighbors that we are, he said.
