The Deputy Director of Municipal Traffic, Jesús Antonio Estrada Díaz, announced that from this Monday until Friday, the streets surrounding the Plazuela Machado will be closed to road traffic due to the holding of various events in the square, as well as in the Angela Peralta Theater.

For the start of the 18th Mexico edition of the Business Summit, the streets Constitución and Ángel from Belisario Domínguez, as well as Heriberto Frías at the height of Sixto Osuna, and Carnaval from Mariano Escobedo to Constitución were blocked to the passage of vehicles.

This week there will also be the Twinning of the city of Mazatlán with that of Dolores Hidalgo, which includes various activities in TAP and Plazuela Machado.

The Deputy Director of Traffic also recalled that on Gabriel Leyva Avenue, due to the works carried out by Jumapam, in the section of Puerto de Veracruz street to Josefa Ortiz de Domínguez, the circulation will be made in two directions by a single lane, by which asked drivers to take alternate routes.

“Today the streets surrounding the Machado square will remain closed: Belisario Domínguez and Constitución, Ángel, Heriberto Frías, Carnaval and Escobedo. There will be alternate routes that are Benito Juárez, Belisario Domínguez, and Ángel Flores. The call to drivers is to take the alternate routes that are being mentioned and to take into account that from now until Friday it will be closed. Gabriel Leyva avenue from tomorrow at 9 in the morning, will be closed for some work of a collector that is going to be introduced, from Puerto de Veracruz to Josefa Ortiz. An operation is going to be implemented there. Gabriel Leyva is going to go in two directions to the south and it is going to be incorporated as normal in the Josefa Ortiz. I ask drivers to take precautions because this work will last approximately 20 to 25 days ”, he explained.

Jesús Antonio Estrada Díaz added that highway agents will be supporting the passage of the units in the areas where the road closures will be.
