‘Culture for All’ will premiere this Saturday at Mazatlan’s Parque Lineal

MAZATLÁN.- This Saturday from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., in the arts area of ​​Parque Lineal (by Plaza Acaya), the program “Culture for everyone”, created by the Municipal Institute of Culture, will premiere, Turismo y Arte de Mazatlán, which will take free quality events to different parts of the emblematic Port, a space full of artistic and literary elements.

During the premiere edition, the artists will evoke anime music from Japanese television series from Studio Ghibli, a special program dedicated to children, youth, and adults with a taste for this genre.

Those in charge of bringing musical instruments and hands to a fantasy world are Adriana Arámburo on the violin and Sergio Castellanos on piano.

The musical repertoire will be wide and in approximately 60 minutes they will play songs such as Laputa (Carryng you), Mother of sea (Mother of the sea), Ponyo, Teru’s song (Teru’s song), Princess mononoke, Path of the wind (Road of the wind), The promise of the world (The promise of the world), Always with me (Always with me), Inochi no namae, among others.

Prior to this show, the “Amado Nervo” Reading Center will be inaugurated, in charge of the More Stories Collective and the Institute of Culture, where various activities will be carried out, such as storytelling, music, literature, poetry, and more.

José Ángel Tostado Quevedo, general director of the Institute of Culture, indicated that with this type of actions the cultural offer grows, but, above all, it reaches a different audience when it is carried out in public places, surrounded by popular neighborhoods, thus achieving culture and the arts to every corner.
