On Saturday, October 31st, the Regional Command of the National Guard confirmed the fall of a plane flying in the vicinity of Puerto Escondido, on the coast of the state of Oaxaca. In the accident, at least six people were injured.
The plane was a Cessna type aircraft, registration XYM-150, which came from the city of Oaxaca, bound for the international airport of the beach destination.
The accident happened shortly after noon and after it a series of images were released showing damage to the plane that hit several trees.
According to the first reports, five passengers were traveling in the plane, relatives of German Simancas, a gasoline businessman, and former municipal president of Tlaxiaco, Oaxaca.
After the accident, the crew were seriously injured and were transferred to a local hospital for medical attention.
