Mazatlán, Sinaloa.- An unidentified person was found dead and floating in the sea.
The body of a person in the beginning of a state of decomposition and very affected by the sun’s rays, was found this Monday afternoon on a beach on Avenida del Mar.
The municipal authorities received the report in which they announced that the body of a person was floating on the ocean and that it was at the height of Insurgentes Avenue.
The man’s body was seen just over 50 meters from the seashore in front of the facilities of the University of the West.
The lifeguards mobilized to the area and confirmed the finding, to later remove the body from the water.
Subsequently, the staff of the deputy prosecutor’s office was requested to attest to the death and order that the body be picked up and taken to the funeral home on duty pending its identification.
