A mega-altar in the shape of a gigantic crown has been installed since Saturday afternoon in the cenotaph built in honor of Édgar Guzmán López, son of Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzmán, who was assassinated on May 8, 2008, in Culiacán.

From noon, the altar alluding to the Day of the Dead is installed in the parking lot of the City Club shopping center, where a metallic structure in the shape of a crown is observed where floral offerings will be placed in honor of one of the sons of the former leader of the Cartel de Sinaloa.

The structure, which has containers to place flowers on all sides, surrounds the cenotaph of Édgar Guzmán, which is occupying the space of two drawers in the parking lot of the shopping center located at the intersection of Avenida Universitarios and Enrique Sánchez Alonso.

After more than 8 hours of work at night and at dawn, this Sunday, November 1, the mega-altar built in honor of Édgar Guzmán López, son of “Chapo” Guzmán, was completed in 2008 in the parking lot of the City Club shopping center. , in Culiacán.

After the metallic structure of about 5 meters in height was installed, since Saturday night, employees of a flower shop began to work on the installation of approximately 2,000 red and white roses in dozens of perfectly adapted containers around the cenotaph of Édgar Guzmán López .

After 8 hours, this Sunday morning the mega-altar was completely finished, drawing the attention of those who pass by the University Boulevard, in Culiacán.

The workers explained that the idea is that once the celebration of the Day of the Dead passes, the reason for this mega-altar, plants and natural ornaments are placed so that the place is always kept alive with ornamental plants.

Édgar Guzmán López, son of “El Chapo” Guzmán, was assassinated in this place along with his cousin, César Ariel Loera, and Arturo Meza Cázares, son of Blanca Margarita Cázares, “La Emperatriz”, who were victims of the Narco War registered since May 2008 in Culiacán.
