Volaris adds 10 new flights to Mazatlan, Sinaloa

Mazatlán, Sinaloa.- As of November 1, Sinaloa airports will begin to receive ten routes of national and international flights per week from Volaris, in order to bring greater growth to the port in tourist infrastructure.

The Secretary of Tourism, Óscar Pérez Barros, released this information within the framework of activities of the 26th edition of the “Friends of Mazatlán 2020 Party” which is held from the 27th to the 30th of this month.

Wholesale operators, airlines, OTA’s participate in the Party, as well as 19 meeting planners, with 474 scheduled business meetings, and that due to the pandemic is carried out in a combined way, with face-to-face and virtual appointments.

The three airports of the state will benefit, in Culiacán flights from Guadalajara, Mexico City, Mexicali, Tijuana, with different numbers of flights, will be arriving next Sunday, as well as from Phoenix, Arizona, all with their respective departures, this being the last destination with a weekly trip in the month of November.

Meanwhile, the Mazatlán airport will receive flights from Tijuana and Mexico City, while the Los Mochis airport will host Tijuana, so that one day later and until November 29, they will receive those from Guadalajara and Mexico City.

Pérez Barro said that this is a reflection of the confidence and growth of Mazatlán and the state, also detailed that from November 2 to November 30 all the routes in reference will be covered with different arrival and departure times.
