Mobile Hospital installation begins in Torreón, Coahuila

Torreón, Coahuila. – On the afternoon of Monday, October 26th, the Mobile Hospital sent by Governor Miguel Ángel Riquelme arrived in Torreón. 

The implementation of this mobile facility was considered necessary due to the increase in the number of patients that require hospitalization for Covid-19 in the region.

The Mobile Hospital that operated in Ciudad Acuña is now being installed in the city of Torreón, next to the General Hospital, in front of the Mantle of the Virgin in an area of ​​32 by 12 meters.

The hospital has 26 beds with ventilators, 14 for observation and 12 for therapy, as well as 16 monitors, oxygen facilities, lighting, special antibacterial mattresses, a triage area and other services.

The same staff of the General Hospital will be in charge of the administration of the mobile hospital.

The governor of Coahuila, Miguel Riquelme, emphasized that the relocation of the Mobile Hospital had been contemplated if necessary in some of the regions where demand increased, as is currently the case in Torreón and the are of “La Laguna”.
