Mazatlán, Sinaloa.- Despite the pandemic, Mazatlán is going through important moments in terms of recovery, road tourism continues to be faithful to the destination, said José Ramón Manguart Sánchez.

The president of the Tres Islas Hotels Association commented that with the protocols established by the health authorities and complying with all hygiene measures, Mazatlán has been placing itself in the preference of its visitors, feeling that they are arriving at a safe destination.

He trusted that air tourism could have a recovery in the medium term, the situation is not easy and it has been national tourism that has always carried Mazatlan forward, and this time it has not been the exception.

” They have given us confidence by all the health protocols that are directed as far as possible for any hotel, restaurant or business to become a point of contagion in this regard,” he said.

He explained that they are tourists mainly from Durango, Chihuahua, Zacatecas, and the state of Sinaloa itself, they are the ones who have maintained a 50% occupancy in the hotel industry in the last two weekends.

” For this weekend it will be 50%, normally people come for one night and despite the circumstances Mazatlán is experiencing important moments in terms of recovery, ” he concluded.
