Mazatlan, Sinaloa.- Due to national holidays, businesses in the port, especially restaurants and clubs, will be constantly monitored this September 15, informed the deputy director of Commerce, Jesús Guillermo Jackes Tirado.

He pointed out that despite the fact that the date falls during the week and there is still a Covid-19 pandemic, there are always people who want to go out to celebrate the day.

“We are going to monitor all kinds of businesses, restaurants, and bars, due to the fact that, even during the week, they go to places. A constant operation is going to be handled in all kinds of places that we know people come to celebrate. this day, “he reported.

He added that there will be no tolerance or relaxation in health protocols just because it is a holiday, so he recalled that these establishments must operate at 40% of their capacity at established times.

He indicated that some hotels have come to ask about the question of holding some kind of celebration, so he rectified that these are still prohibited in the city.

“Parties as such are not allowed, hotels that have asked how this issue will be, the only thing allowed is dinners, without dances and they have to be attached to the protocols,” he said.
