Clandestine grave found north of Mazatlán

The skeletal remains of two people were located on a dirt road next to the construction of the new campus of the Autonomous University of Durango in the Mazatlán Marina area.

The mapping began at approximately 9:00 in the morning at the aforementioned place by agents of the National Search Commission, Lost Treasures Until Found.

Brigades from the Secretariat of National Defense, the National Guard, and the Secretariat of the Navy, as well as agents of the Mazatlán municipal police, arrived on-site to conduct the corresponding investigations.

On the other hand, Experts from the Prosecutor’s Office will be in charge of processing the scene and then taking the remains to the Forensic Medical Service where the corresponding examinations will be carried out.
