Mazatlán, Sinaloa.- Despite the increase in active cases of Covid-19, this morning at a conference “El Quimico” announced a trip to the north of the state.

He stressed that tourism is the main economic activity in Mazatlan and it benefits thousands of workers in all areas such as hotels and restaurants.
“Right now we are surpassing almost every destination in the country, said the mayor of Mazatlán”.

Benítez Torres said that to continue on the right track, society has to do its part and take the necessary precautions.
The municipal president urges society to respect the indications of the health authorities to reduce infections.
He assured that sanctions will be imposed to businesses that do not comply with sanitary measures.
He stated that the merchants made a commitment not with the authorities but with the citizens when they returned to the new normal.
