Warning issued: new storm forming off the Mexican Pacific coast

The tropical storm ‘Hernan’ is located 300 km south of Jalisco

Mexico. The National Meteorological Service reported in its most recent report that tropical storm “Hernan” has formed in the Pacific .

It details that the storm is located 300 km south of Cabo Corrientes, Jalisco and 720 km southeast of Los Cabos, Baja California Sur.

The SMN announced that it will bring torrential occasional rains (150 to 250 mm) in Jalisco, Colima and Michoacán, and intense (75 to 150 mm) in Nayarit.

In addition, he called for extreme precautions to the general population in the areas of the aforementioned states due to rain, wind and waves (including maritime navigation) and to comply with the recommendations issued by the authorities of the National Civil Protection System, in each entity .
