Culiacán, Sinaloa.- With the permanent installation of emergency care equipment in Mazatlán, Conagua is ready to operate in the event of any situation of this type, especially since it is already in the middle of the hurricane season, reported the regional director, Luis Montalvo Espinoza.
He specified that there was already a technical and human team in Los Mochis and Culiacán, thus meeting the needs of the central and northern areas, and recently it was also specified to have this equipment in the southern area.
“We have 224 teams, including pumping teams, pipes, tanker trucks, etcetera, etcetera; water generating plants and electric power plants, available in the three regional Emergency Attention centers in Mazatlán, Culiacán and Los Mochis ”, he indicated.
He pointed out that at the meeting of the State Civil Protection Council it was agreed to have timely information on weather phenomena, and the evolution of storage in dams on a daily and hourly basis, as well as to make this equipment available to serve the population affected by these weather events. .
