As authorities responsible for preventing the spread of COVID 19, she indicated that the municipal government of Santa Maria Huatulco made the determination that the use of a mask is mandatory in common and public spaces, so if visitors do not want to take the necessary precautions, they will not be allowed in this tourist destination.

The municipal trustee explained that these determinations were made according to the indications of a municipal health council, in which all the directors of the hospitals located in that municipality participate.

She pointed out that in Bahías de Huatulco the pertinent sanitary measures are maintained for the gradual reopening of the beaches and restaurants in order to support the economic reactivation of both the tourism sector and other commercial lines.

Upon arrival at this tourist destination, there is a sanitary filter that provides information on the measures that must be followed to prevent infections, such as the use of face masks in public spaces, restricted access to the beaches to avoid crowds, no intoxicating drinks on the beaches, among other measures.
