Mazatlan, Sinaloa.- JUMAPAM is already working to repair the leak detected in one of the three supply lines

This Friday, all of Mazatlan will have a decrease in the supply of drinking water, due to the fact that one of the three supply lines that supply the city presented a major leak, in which personnel from the Jumapam Operations Management are already working.

According to the first reports, the water leak was detected at 7:00 am this Friday, near the town of El Zapote, so the valve was closed on that line at the Los Horcones Water Treatment Plant, to perform the repair.

This is the 36-inch asbestos-cement line, dating from the 1980s, which provides Mazatlan with a total of 900 liters of water per second.

Jumapam asks the population to be very careful in the use of water and avoid activities that require too much water, since the repair maneuver will take several hours and the supply will take longer to restore.
