MAZATLAN.- David Armando González Torrentera resigned today from his position as Secretary of Economic Development, Tourism, and Fisheries of Mazatlan.

According to a letter attributed to him and circulating on social networks, González Torrentera delivered his resignation letter to the City Council today, and it was signed and sealed as received.

Mayor Luis Benítez was said to be on a promotional tour today in Durango.

In the resignation letter, it is said that “the good intentions, values ​​, and vision that were raised for this administration from the electoral period were distorted over time.”

It is added that this project (the current Morena administration) “lost direction and leadership, and some interests were put above the loyalty and commitment of many people who believed in it.”
