Cruise Ships Ready to return to Puerto Vallarta

In Puerto Vallarta, the tourism sector is already getting ready for the return of the cruises to the entity, as long as the advance of the epidemiological traffic light allows it, so the Integral Port Administration (API ) foresees that the ships begin to arrive at the end next September.

After more than 3 months that there has been no arrival of vessels for tourist reasons, but rather humanitarian, API-Vallarta maintains the constant practice and adjustment of sanitary protocols, once the ports have been reopened to receive visitors both nationals as foreigners.

Meanwhile, small and recreational boats, as well as large cruises, most recently the Koningsdam, of the Holland America shipping line, are now allowed to sail across the Bay of Banderas.

The cruise industry is making efforts to return to the ports, while waiting for the shipping companies to obtain authorization, mainly from the United States, to be able to reactivate the activity.
