Sinaloa. The municipality of Mazatlan has been one of the privileged destinations, due to the fact that it has a lot of land connectivity and that has increased the influx of tourists in the Port, assured the head of the Confederation of National Chambers of Commerce, Services and Tourism (Concanaco Servytur), Guillermo Romero Rodríguez.

The businessman stated that Mazatlan has been in a constant recovery mainly on weekends, as it has had 50 percent in hotel occupancy, that is, at its maximum limit.

“Mazatlán has very close connectivity with the North, which is Durango, Zacatecas Coahuila, Nuevo León, Chihuahua and Tamaulipas, the Central and North part of Sinaloa, which is a great tourist potential that Sinaloa receives, this part has brought us a lot of tourism” , said.

“We are happy with the tourist reactivation from July 1, where the authorities gave us an opportunity to reactivate ourselves,” he said.

He also mentioned that compared to other tourist destinations, such as Los Cabos and Cancun, tourists have trouble getting there because connectivity is by air.
