Mazatlan wants to dye purple

Mazatlán FC posters popped-up all over the port, so people can have in mind that la Liga MX is a reality in Mazatlán.

Mazatlán, Sinaloa (July 25, 2020) .- The main streets of the city were covered in purple, with hundreds of posters of the new Mexican League professional soccer team Mazatlán FC ⚽.

There are two types of posters: one with the team logo and the other with the phrase “¡Qué Orgullo Ser de Mazatlán!”(What a pride is being from Mazatlan).

Both teams decided to move the game to Monday, as the Sinaloans are awaiting the results of the Covid-19 tests of their players, and staff.

The new stadium (nicknamed “Kraken”) was officially inaugurated on Friday, July 24th, with the feature presentation of the renown Banda El Recodo, in addition to the presentation of the team’s official jerseys for this season, both local and visiting.

The first official Liga MX game for the Mazatan FC, will take place on Monday, July 27 at 9:00 p.m. local time, 10:00 p.m. Central Mexico time at the Kraken.

“The Purple Corsairs” will debut in their new home next Monday against Puebla?‍☠️
