The Mazatlán Chamber of Commerce is already aware that many merchants have problems with rent and staff Social Security expenses.
Mazatlán, Sinaloa (July 25, 2020).- In this “new normal”, around 1,500 businesses remain closed, which represents 15% of the registry of the Mazatlán National Chamber of Commerce.
Canaco Secretary-General Guillermo Romero Rodríguez warned that once all companies are given economic openness, businesses that do not comply will not be allowed to operate.
He clarified that now no business can open its doors if it does not comply with the established hygiene protocols, there will be strict and specific guidelines.
Romero Rodríguez pointed out that it is not possible to speak of millionaire losses because they still do not know if they are going to let all the businesses open or not, but he trusted that they will.
For his part, the president of Canaco, Jesús Sandoval Gaxiola, explained that many businesses that reopened their doors need to pay their Social Security fees.
