Mazatlan Sinaloa. – Since the reopening of the beaches with the reactivation of the tourism sector, to date, sellers in the federal area have not been able to rebound in their sales because visitors do not come with much money to pay, said Jorge Luis Ríos Rubio.

The general secretary of beach vendors in the federal zone adhering to CTM specified that they have only reached sales levels of 30 to 40 percent; However, they expect the outlook to improve in the coming weeks.

“Tourism is not a very buyer, we already know that; So, let’s hope that they are composed in these days, months that we have left to see if people bring more money to buy. Of the 800 vendors that are registered, there will be less than 400 in the beach area, “he said.

Ríos Rubio said that the vendors work to obtain the health certificate, in order to provide greater security in terms of hygiene to tourists; that is, they must comply with a series of protocols, such as; use mouth covers, keep the healthy distance, bring antibacterial and a cloth to clean the merchandise.
