Mazatlan.- This weekend, elements of the Municipal Police Aquatic Salvage Squad registered five rescues at sea, care for five injured by various causes, and three stray children who were returned to their families.

On Saturday, at 15:57, in front of the Paseo Claussen, the lifeguards helped Martha Elena “N”, 22, originally from San Luis Potosí, who suffered an accident.

On the Isla de la Piedra, at 4:50 p.m., municipal agents gave first aid to 30-year-old Manuel Darío “N”, originally from Tepic, who after entering the sea resulted in an injury to his left foot caused by a Stingray.

At Playa Norte, at 6:30 p.m., Miguel “N”, 37, originally from Guanajuato, was rescued from the ocean currents.

Meanwhile, on the ramp of the Monument to the Fisherman, Gabino “N”, 44, was injured by falling after leaning on a fence, so he was transferred to the Red Cross.

This Sunday, the lifeguards carried out a massive rescue around 1:30 pm; Thanks to the timely intervention, they managed to put Bernardo “N”, 51 years old, and his sons David, Joel and Claudia, 24, 13 and 16 years old, respectively, on solid ground.

The participants of the operation attended three cases of lost minors; at the Fisherman Monument Mitzy, 5 years old, was reported by her parents and located in front of the Aguamarina hotel.

In the Cerritos area, a lifeguard from an area hotel turned officers over to 3-year-old Victor Gael, who was eventually taken with his mother.

And on North Beach, William, 7, from Chihuahua, also went astray but was located and turned over to his family.

This day there was also medical care, such as that given to the boy Mario, 7 years old, from Chihuahua, who was injured by a “jellyfish” next to the Monument to the Fisherman, and José “N”, 33 years old, from Chihuahua, who presented dislocation in one shoulder.
