In 2019, an average of 10 women died daily from intentional assaults. In addition, violence against women and minors within households increased 120% since the declaration of confinement due to the coronavirus epidemic, reported in a bulletin from the brewery originally from San Miguel de Allende.

Fundación Origen, created in 1999 at the initiative of Mariana Baños Reynaud, is a comprehensive care platform for women and their families and offers human and economic development programs to break the cycle of violence and reduce poverty in our country.

Its mission is “to fully empower women who suffer violence, poverty or are in a vulnerable situation”, providing them with the necessary tools to access opportunities that allow them to improve their living conditions and that of their families.
