Hot daytime environment over northwestern, western and southern Mexico will continue

This Sunday, June 14, rains of different intensities are forecast over entities in the east, southeast, northwest, west and central Mexico, including the Yucatan Peninsula, reported the National Weather Service (SMN).

In an informative bulletin, the SMN detailed that  tropical wave 4 will  travel through the Yucatan Peninsula and will interact with a  low pressure channel  over the east and southeast of Mexico, causing heavy to very heavy rains, electric shocks and gusts of wind as the storms in Oaxaca, Puebla, Veracruz, Tabasco, Campeche, Yucatan and Quintana Roo, in addition to intense punctual rains in Chiapas.

On the other hand, a  low pressure channel  over the northwest, west and center of the country, will cause showers and intervals of showers, electric shocks, gusts of wind during the passage of storms and possible hail, in addition to heavy rains in Michoacán and Guerrero , conditions reinforced by the passage of  tropical wave 3  off the coast of Jalisco.

Also, the hot to extremely hot daytime environment over the northwest, west and south of the Mexican Republic will continue, in addition to the Yucatan Peninsula, with maximum temperatures above 40 ° C in 8 entities.

Forecast by regions:

Valley of Mexico:  Clear sky during the morning with increased cloudiness during the day. Probability of showers with showers and electric shocks in the State of Mexico and without rain in Mexico City. North component wind from 10 to 25 km / h with gusts of 35 km / h. In Mexico City, a maximum temperature of 26 to 28 ° C and a minimum of 13 to 15 ° C is forecast. For the capital of the State of Mexico, maximum temperature of 23 to 25 ° C and minimum of 6 to 8 ° C.

Baja California Peninsula : Clear sky most of the day and no rain. Hot environment. Northwest wind 15 to 30 km / h with gusts of 50 to 60 km / h in the region.

North Pacific:  Clear sky in the morning with increased overcast in the afternoon. Showers and electric shocks in Sonora and Sinaloa. Very hot environment. Wind from west component of 15 to 30 km / h with gusts of 50 to 60 km / h in Sonora.

Central Pacific : Cloudy skies in the afternoon with punctual heavy rains in Michoacán and intervals of showers in Nayarit, Colima and Jalisco, all with electric shocks and possible hail fall. Very hot environment and variable direction wind from 15 to 30 km / h.

South Pacific:  Cloudy skies in the afternoon with intense punctual rains in Chiapas, as well as strong ones in Oaxaca and Guerrero, all with electric shocks and possible hail fall. Hot environment in coastal areas and wind from the north with gusts of 60 to 70 km / h in the Isthmus and the Gulf of Tehuantepec (coasts of Oaxaca and Chiapas).

Gulf of Mexico:  Partly cloudy sky with increasing cloudiness towards the afternoon and heavy rains in Veracruz and Tabasco, all with electric shocks and possible hail fall, in addition to isolated rains in Tamaulipas. Warm environment. North component wind with gusts of 50 to 60 km / h on the coast of Veracruz.

Yucatan Peninsula:  Cloudy sky in the afternoon with very strong occasional rains in Campeche, as well as strong ones in Yucatan and Quintana Roo, accompanied by electric discharges. Warm environment. East and northeast winds 10 to 25 km / h.

Mesa del Norte:  Clear sky in the morning with an increase in cloudy in the afternoon and intervals of showers, electric shocks, and possible hail fall in Chihuahua and Durango, in addition to isolated rains in San Luis Potosí. Warm atmosphere during the day. East component wind of 20 to 35 km / h with gusts of 60 to 70 km / h in Chihuahua.

Central Table:  Partly cloudy sky in the morning and increased cloudiness in the afternoon with heavy point showers with electric shocks and possible hail fall in Puebla, as well as isolated showers in Hidalgo and Morelos. Hot environment and east component wind from 15 to 30 km / h.
