They are analyzing the possible re-opening of restaurants in Baja California

The Governor of Baja California announced during his morning broadcast that he is analyzing the possible reopening of the restaurants for next week, for this reason, a meeting with the five mayors is scheduled for tomorrow to determine what measures will be taken in the event of a possible reopening.

This announcement is made days after the state president and the five mayors held a meeting with the president of the National Chamber of the Restaurant and Seasoned Food Industry (Canirac), Miguel Ángel Badiola.

Badiola announced that one of the measures to reactivate shops and allow diners to consume within restaurants will be to offer a service with a maximum capacity of 25% in each restaurant.

On the other hand, Canirac in Baja California has already delivered to the authorities a document that specifies and establishes the sanitary measures and protocols that must be taken in each restaurant permanently, until the traffic light allows full capacity.

It should be remembered that until a few weeks ago the collection of a sanitary license had been contemplated, to which Badiola pointed out that it cannot afford to add one more charge to the productive sector, and even less in the circumstances so devastating that the contingency caused by the Covid-19.

At the moment, no restaurant can have diners eating inside the establishment, since this may mean the permanent closure of said restaurants.
