Merchant Ernesto González Camberos, mentioned that he hopes that the situation will improve with the opening of activities that begin on June 1, after the quarantine period caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.

“The low consumption of the 21 stores that make up the Union of Fish Sellers, is significantly damaging the economy of many Mazatleco families”, the merchant said.

He added that, 7 days ago the marketing of seafood products remained at 40 percent, a figure that can possibly improve now with the opening of beer outlets.

González Camberos commented, the sales of fish from the pier to the Isla de la Piedra is carried out with all the preventive measures required by the health authorities such as the use of mouth covers, antibacterial gel and the healthy distance between clients, and between clients and sellers.
