Mazatlán, Sinaloa.- The direction of Public Works in the Municipality has asked the different construction companies to speed up the work to achieve great progress before the first rains are registered in Mazatlán, declared Juan de Dios Garay Velázquez.
The head of the area specified that large rehabilitation works such as Rafael Buelna will conclude in August, Gutiérrez Nájera has 40 percent, and Camarón Sábalo has already placed hydraulic concrete in one lane of the avenue, and the other registers a 30 percent advance.
“Speaking of Rafael Buelna, Gutiérrez Nájera, Camarón Sábalo, they are making significant progress. The Gutiérrez Nájera, for example; In general terms, we can talk about 40 percent of all the work that is going to be done, but we will be in the possibility of completing it in two more months, “he said.
The local official said that in the Camarón Sábalo there are various critical points because some areas are flooded with rains, and to avoid this, work is done in the room with adequate storm drainage.
“Yes, we are at least preparing for that solution, right now the avenue is being fully addressed and as far as possible the aspects that have to do with storm drainage will be concluded; if it is being addressed, it is being considered ”.
“… for now the part that is inside the avenue is working to prepare grids, etc. to enable storm drainage properly,” he said.
Garay Velázquez clarified that Public Works already has the projects prepared to install grids and everything that is necessary so that this area does not flood again in the rainy season.
