Mazatlán General Hospital recieves donation

200 complete medical kits were donated to the Mazatlán General Hospital personnel who are treating COVID-19 cases, among other things.

Mazatlán, Sinaloa (May 31, 2020).- The Secretary of Economy, Javier Lizárraga Mercado and the Undersecretary of Health, Víctor Sánchez Maloff, received a donation from the Alert Group for the benefit of the medical staff of the General Hospital of Mazatlán “Dr. Martiniano Carvajal”.

200 complete packages for the medical personnel who are attending cases of COVID-19 were donated by the Alert Group, represented by businessman Rodolfo Madero. The donation includes n95 face masks, shields, overalls, protective glasses, and gowns.

“This type of contribution is not only necessary but it also reflects the support provided by the private initiative to better alleviate the pandemic,” said Javier Lizárraga Mercado, Secretary of Economy of the Government of Sinaloa.

He reiterated that these types of actions demonstrate the commitment and solidarity to the health sector that is facing the coronavirus (COVID-19), in this case from the business sector, represented by Mr. Rodolfo Madero of the Alert Group.

Undersecretary Víctor Sánchez Maloff, in the representation of the State Health Secretary, thanked this kind gesture, which aims to protect those who, due to their profession, are on the front line fighting against this global pandemic.
