Briefly, the demonstration was convened through instant messaging on mobile phones, and a group of citizens in their vehicles circulated through different avenues of the port with signs and slogans written in their cars’ windows, protesting against Andrés Manuel López Obrador policies.

Publications on social networks indicate that the march started from Avenida Ejército Mexicano, near Ciudad Universitaria, towards Plazuela República, downtown Mazatlan, and then continued along Avenida Del Mar.

The protesters chanted slogans against President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, in which they said that they disagree with his government policy and demand his resignation.

“AMLO ya vete”, “Fuera Amlo” were some of the slogans that could be read on the vehicles and on the cardboard signs carried by protesters.

The “anti-AMLO” caravan was peaceful in Mazatlán and no riots were reported.
