Tourism is expected to be reactivated during the first half of June

Mazatlán, Sinaloa.- In Sinaloa, businesses related to tourism and gastronomy are already preparing to reactivate the activity, but under the corresponding sanitary guidelines, said the Secretary of Tourism of Sinaloa, Óscar Pérez Barros.

Likewise, he revealed that at the national level it is ensuring that tourism activity can be reactivated during the first half of June.

“The tourism that is going to travel in the very near future, is going to think about the destinations that will provide more health security and we are working on that. We are already very advanced, and for the month of June we are going to be in the tourism sector with ( a) distinctive of health in the entire tourist sector, to provide confidence to the tourist who decides to come to Sinaloa, who feels safe with his family that he is going to visit a healthy, safe, sanitary tourist place, “he said.

Likewise, Pérez Barros took the opportunity to congratulate the Federal Secretary of Tourism, Miguel Torruco Marqués, for having managed to keep long weekends, commonly known as “bridges”, as he stressed that these days off work boost tourist activity in the country and, of course, in Sinaloa.

In this regard, the head of Sectur Sinaloa explained that during the last long weekend (on the occasion of the birth of Benito Juárez) an economic spill of around 500 million pesos was achieved in the different destinations of the entity.
