Hotels in Mazatlan could be operating by June 15

Mazatlán, Sinaloa (May 23, 2020). State, municipal authorities and Mazatlán hoteliers review the points and requirements to uniformly apply the protocols and sanitary guidelines that will be followed for the reopening of the lodging centers.

The Secretary of Economic Development, Tourism and Fisheries of Mazatlán, David González Torrentera, announced that all hotels must have a Sanitary Certification to reopen.

“We are working to clarify doubts about the way in which the sanitation processes and all the protocols for the new normality should go ahead and with this have certified hotels to restart the operation,” said David González.

He revealed that it is being considered that by June 15 the hotels may already be operating, obviously if it is possible to contain the number of infections in Sinaloa and the municipality of Mazatlan.
