Mazatlán, Sinaloa. The presence of pedestrians on the Mazatlán boardwalk has been reduced by up to 90 percent, to avoid crowds that could cause possible Covid-19 infections.

Elements of the Aquatic Rescue Squad are stationed on the tourist route, inviting the few passers-by to withdraw since their presence could attract other people.

The security device, which was put into operation after March 20 with the start of the health quarantine, also involves personnel from the Traffic Police and the Municipal Civil Protection Coordination.

ESA staff commented, there is no date to withdraw surveillance, so the 28 members of the rescue group come to withdraw an average of 20 people a day, who are surprised walking in the section of Avenida Del Mar to the Olas Altas
