When disembarking, each crew member carried a face mask, had their temperature taken, a health questionnaire, data review and verification, and a sanitation process was carried out before boarding a smaller vessel that transferred them to Playa del Carmen.

At the Playa del Carmen dock, before descending, they got off the luggage and were sanitized, later they were taken to ground transportation that took them to the Cancun International Airport.

Of the 15 Quintanarroenses, 7 stayed in Playa del Carmen, the other 8 are from Cancun, all were quarantined to prevent any situation.

He noted that as part of these filters, the health questionnaire was taken onboard on a daily basis to its crew, and the review of the crew’s temperature log was also verified.

The medical record of consultations on board, the validation of the seafarers’ health certificate and verification of itineraries of each of the returnees were also reviewed.

The 68 Mexican workers at the shipping company have been on the ship since April 13 and have been without Covid-19 symptoms for more than 14 days.
