3 EAGLES CHICKS RESCUED AT CID IN MAZATLAN MOTHER ATTACKED BYPASSERS

Mazatlan, Sinaloa.- Elements of the Voluntary Firefighters of Mazatlán rescued three young gray eagles who were in a nest on a tree located in one of the parks of the El Cid Country Club

The report made by the residents of said settlement indicated that the mother of the offspring attacked the people who were walking in the area as they felt intimidated and as protection for their birds, for which the presence of emergency elements was requested.

Staff from the Voluntary Firefighters of Mazatlán came to the site, who were accompanied by Municipal Ecology personnel, who upon realizing that they were calves of the species called “gray eagle”, authorized with the consent of Profepa, to be rescued and transferred to the facilities of the Mazatlán Aquarium where they remained in shelter and protection.

To reach the hatchlings, large ladders and personnel wearing special suits were used as protection.
